Nelson Mandela's Reflection.
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was an anti-apartheid activist, politician and philanthropist who served as president of South Africa in the period 1994-1999.
Nelson Mandela was a leader recognized worldwide for his great human spirit, and for always believing in a better world. He went through many difficult times, but never gave up and continued chasing the dream of achieving freedom for South Africa.
He was always an extraordinary citizen, and an example of citizen who loved his people, and fought at all times to achieve a better life for all his people.

Nelson Mandela was born Rolihlahla Mandela on July 18, 1918, in a village of Mvez, South Africa.
Only joined the African National Congress in 1944 when he helped to form the ANC Youth League.
Mandela joined the ANC in 1944. The ANC was created to protect black people.
On 31 March 1982 Nelson Mandela was transferred to Pollsmoor Prison in Cape Town with Sisulu, Mhlaba and Mlangeni.
The south african goverment finally understood that mandela was the only man who could change things. In 1985 mandela was free.
On 10 May 1994 he was inaugurated South Africa’s first democratically elected President. On his 80th birthday in 1998 he married Graça Machel, his third wife.
He died at his home in Johannesburg on 5 December 2013

1. - How did the Bantu Education Act change education for black children?
The Bantu Education Act, controlled black education. This way the Government knew that young blacks were not being taught about freedom and equality.
2. - Why did the ANC want a Congress of the People?
Because they want to create a list of rights called a “Freedom Charter”. The ANC and other groups could use the Freedom Charter to work together for a new South Africa.
3. – What happened to Mandela after the Congress of the People?
Mandela was arrested, accused of high treason, which was punishable by death.
4. – What was the result of the Treason Trial?
The judge ordered the cage to be taken from the court and he freed the prisoners. on bait.

-Weapon: An object that can be used for hurting people or damaging property, for example a gun, knife, or bomb.
If the world made less weapons, the countries would live in peace.
-Illegal: Not allowed by the law.
Potter was taken to jail because he did something illegal.
-Spear and clubs: A spear is a long weapon that is like a stick with one sharp pointed end. A club is a thick heavy stick used as a weapon. The black tribes did not have guns.
The Aztecs used to use spears and clubs to hunt their food and these were used to be like a tool in their ceremonies.
-created: To make something new exist or happen.
The African National Congress was created in 1912.
-mine: A tunnel in the ground from which people take gold, coal, etc.
Before Nelson Mandela was president of South Africa, black people had worked on mines.
-adviser: Someone whose job is to give advice on subjects.
If you had problems with math and physics, you could hire an adviser.

My friend Martin and I, visited Peru, we went to many beautiful places, but we think the most
Interesting places that we saw were Machu Picchu and Caja Marca.
The two places show the culture of Perú and we were so excited to know people who live there and told us
About how they lived. These places were so stunning that we would like to visit it in the future.

Hi! Good morning everyone.. This is Ana's blog.
First at all, I let you know somethings about me. My full name is Ana Cristina Morales, I'm law student in "Tec de Monterrey", in Monterrey. I have been living here since 2 years. . I born on August 6th, 1990 in Acapulco, Guerrero. I really love Acapulco because is tropical paradise, but I have to move to Monterrey, because I had to study my major. Was and is still really hard for me be away for my family. When the vacations is near, I'm so happy because I will see them. My family, usually visit me here in Monterrey, and I visit them as well. In my family we are eight members, my parents, two sisters, one brother and my little niece. We are a united family, and enjoy our time together.
